Senior mechanical designer Kristof: “When I had a look at the machines, I was hooked”

“Switching jobs always comes with a risk. But after that phone call, I knew I was making the right choice.” Kristof Rysman joined our team as a senior mechanical designer back in September 2025. Here, he gets to focus on the type of projects he missed out on in his previous job. Another perk: Kristof teaming up with his ex-colleague Diego again, who made the switch to our company a few months before him.

“I clicked with Timen right away. And when he showed me the machines they make here… awesome! I was immediately was convinced. For some of the technologies we implement here, we are pioneers in Belgium. And all that in Waregem, just 10 minutes from my door.”

“But changing jobs is a big step. So of course, it was a tough decision.”

“I was lucky that my ex-colleague Diego had already been working at VINTIV for several months. After his phone call, I was convinced that this was the right choice for me.”

Military aviation

“In my previous job, the focus had gradually shifted to series production. I missed the custom work. Here, creativity is key in every project to find the right solutions. The machines are interesting, with neat, precision mechanical movements.”

“I am very curious to see how our customer base will evolve”, Kristof concludes. “Can we grow even more and become the preferred partner for the big names? In any case, I hope for a project in military aviation, as it is one of my passions.”
