Challenge

By investing in a test machine, our customer wants to strengthen and improve the already strict quality control.

VINTIV was commissioned to build a custom test system that :

  • Completes and improves the already strict quality control.
  • Is universal in use (1 test machine for all kinds of products).
  • Generates simple, reproducible and repeatable results.
  • Is eEasy in use and installation.
  • Is safe to use for operators and technicians (special attention to machine safety).
  • Generates reliable data (calibration and verification of the system).

Solution

VINTIV has developed a test machine that measures and reports parameters such as breakaway torque, running torque, speeds, etc. via measuring systems. The adjustable height and width setting by means of electrically driven spindles make the machine universal and easy to use. Operators are safely shielded from hazards by various collective risk reductions. The user interface has a number of standard recipes, but also the creation of customized recipes is easy and fast. Measurement reports are generated and can be printed. A link to the existing IT infrastructure makes it possible to use the data directly in the customer’s process.

Results

By using the test machine any deviations can be detected in an early stage. This leads to considerable savings because one is sure of the quality in the follow-up process. This underlines our customer’s reputation as a high quality supplier.
