Challenge

This customer was looking for a machine to facilitate the palletizing of battery packs.

Solution

VINTIV developed a machine that sorts both single and bundled boxes in the right configuration, depending on the stack configuration of the customer. With a customized robot hand the boxes are stacked layer by layer on the pallets, where the robot feeds intermediate sheets and empty pallets. These pallets are fed in and out using buffer roller conveyors.

Results

Thanks to this machine, the customer can palletize battery packs in a very efficient way and save not only time but also money.
